Orta ve Genç Bronz Çağı’nda (MÖ. 1200 – 1800) Mysia bölgesinde Kuzey Batı Anadolu gruplarının yaşadığı ve konuluşan Mysia dilinin Lydia ve Phrygia dillerinin karışımı olduğu bilinmektedir.
